Interests
Dr. Brett Richards was born and raised in Texas. Dr. Richards specializes in orthopedic, hand, and upper extremity surgery in Ogden with treatment like Xiaflex injections for Dupuytren’s Disease. His unique skill set allows him to care for a diverse patient population with a number of musculoskeletal ailments. His interests include nerve compression, arthritis of the hand, wrist and elbow, limb contractures secondary to stroke or traumatic brain injury, and sports-related injuries of the upper extremity.
Prior to coming to Ogden, he was the upper extremity team physician for NCAA Division I and II scholarship athletes at two universities in south Texas. He brings his love of sports to Utah and hopes to continue his work by helping athletes in the Beehive state. In his spare time Dr. Richards enjoys golfing, fishing, and skiing with his family.
